On 6 December 2018 at the Auditorium Scuola di Polizia di Stato, in Vibo Valentia, a concert of opera music was held to support “La Cittadella di Padre Pio”. All of the proceeds went towards the construction of the “Madonna di Fatima” centre, the first building of the Cittadella di Padre Pio.
Taking part in the event was Irene Gaeta, founder and chairperson of the association “I Discepoli di Padre Pio” and architect and project manager Luciano Messina, who illustrated the characteristics and above all the spirit of the project underway in the municipality of Drapia.
The event saw professional musicians and opera singers take to the stage, enchanting all present with their very different performances in terms of tone and atmosphere, yet all equally intense and impressive.
