On 28 May 2018 at 6 pm, the first stone of the “Our Lady of the Tears” centre was laid in Drapia.
The event took place in a day full of emotions and spirituality, in the presence of civil and religious authorities, with a series of speeches by its main players about the history of the project, a detailed architectural and medical-scientific description and its religious vocation.
At the end of the celebration, officiated by bishop Mons. Renzo, the first stone was laid, thus sealing what was a really important day for “La Cittadella di Padre Pio”.
