Padre Pio gives his message to Irene Gaeta

Padre Pio appears to Irene and asks her, with an authoritative tone, to build a children’s hospital, a research centre and a home for the suffering.

“In December 2004, as I was tidying up my room, at about 10:00 in the morning, Saint Pio appeared  together with Jesus. Jesus was there but didn’t speak, while Saint Pio said with great severity:

-My child, you must build a sanctuary in Calabria, a children’s hospital, a research centre and a home for the suffering. Because there are children who will be born with tumours in their lungs, in their blood and elsewhere, and they must be cured with natural medicines, with the herbs that grow there and with the water that flows there –

I replied: “I’m not from Calabria and I don’t care about it and my husband, who is from Calabria, doesn’t want me to work there, where I intended to found a prayer group”.

Padre Pio, with even more authority, commanded three times: “I told you that in Calabria you must build a sanctuary, a paediatric hospital, a research centre and a home for the suffering”.
“There”, pointing to the location, “you must offer three specialisations: tumours, blood diseases and lung diseases, because children will be born with these three illnesses. They must be treated with natural plant-based medicines, plants that grow there”.

We started to work hard in that area and we purchased land of about 18 hectares with a pure water spring and important medicinal plants. Nearby another plot of land of 2,500 m2 was donated by Antonio and Maria Vallone, where a home for the elderly, another for “for those who come after us” and one for the children from the prisons in Calabria would be built.
Calabria is a land rich in natural resources. It is a matter of finding the right channels to tap into them.

This one of God’s projects, which must not have any private interests, but must be built upon love and charity alone. We must reflect! Then after Jesus appeared 18 times during the ‘80s. Jesus defined himself as the “king of kings”. It is a land chosen by the royalty of Crucified Christ, and so chosen by God!
We have the responsibility of listening to and implementing the message sent to us by the Lord. Everyone thinks that these works are the good of others, while they will be for our children, our grandchildren, our generation.”
